Welsh violinist Thomas Mathias was recently selected as an Artist Associate of YCAT and the Countess of Munster Trust. After studies in the UK he moved to Indiana University for an Artist Diploma where he was a member of the Kuttner Quartet -in residence  as well as Concertmaster of Ballet Indiana Orchestra. His parallel interest in research into performance practice has led to invitations to conferences in Japan, Poland and the USA.

Pianist Dominic Degavino is no stranger to Kelso Music Society, having appeared with the Maharaj-Degavino Duo and last season with the multi-award winning Mithras Piano Trio, previous BBC New generation Artists. Alongside work as a soloist he is a passionate chamber musician, accompanist and jazz player.
