Folk music and song – both original and traditional – as well as Bach!
Su-a and Hamish will present an unique cross-genre afternoon of music.

Korean-born Su-a Lee stands as one of Scotland's most versatile and adventurous musicians, whether as Assistant Principal Cello of Scottish Chamber Orchestra for over 30 years, founder member of the innovative Mr McFall's Chamber or in collaboration with artists from Eric Clapton to folk musicians. Beyond performance, she is a dedicated educator and music therapist, working with dementia programmes in hospitals and tutoring for the  National Youth Orchestras of Scotland and Great Britain and the Benedetti Foundation.

Scottish folk flautist, pianist, singer, educator and composer Hamish Napier has lived and worked in Glasgow and Boston's multi-genre scenes for many years and has now returned to his native Strathspey. His work involves contributing to many disciplines; providing music and text for films and audio apps as well as participating in community arts projects.

This season Lloyds Land Rover Kelso have sponsored our concert with Su-a Lee and Hamish Napier and we are very grateful for their willingness to support us in our 75th Anniversary year.
“If you could bottle the evident glee with which Lee was overflowing, you'd likely waste it: the fizzing welcome to the near-packed hall a joy to behold”
                                                                                    - review of Su-a Lee at Celtic Connections
“Napier has the composer's gift of painting a picture with sound, more evocative than an artist. Superb.”   FATEA Magazine
