Our Funders |
We are extremely grateful for the grant from Chamber Music Scotland that provides a major part of our core funding for this season.
Charity Begins at Home has also provided a grant which enables us to include outlying primary schools in our outreach work, funding the cost of coach travel to Kelso Old Parish Church, which would be beyond the scope of the schools' budgets. Kelso Music Society (KMS) has built up a relationship with the schools over the years and they are extremely keen to take advantage of these opportunities.
KMS funds their outreach programme from a budget which is separate from the core concert budget and offers workshops and concerts to the schools free of charge.
This season Lloyds Land Rover Kelso have sponsored our concert with Su-a Lee and Hamish Napier and we are very grateful for their willingness to support us in our 75th Anniversary year.
Finally, we are also very happy to use the bequest from Anne Fingland, a committee member and treasurer of KMS for many years, to sponsor the concert with Roderick Williams and the Carducci Quartet.
