Gould Piano Trio &
Robert Plane  

The popular quartet of the Gould Piano Trio and Robert Plane return with a programme with a Scottish flavour, from Judith Weir's quirky depiction of various travel destinations to Holbrooke's peaceful portrayal of a Hebridean island. Mendelssohn, so attracted to the landscape of Scotland, draws upon a Bach chorale in his devotional piano trio, whilst Piers Hellawell's new work is inspired by St Wilfred and the buildings he founded.
